Is A multifaceted international relief and community development organization serving the citizens of Essex County in New Jersey and The people of Haiti. MIBOSAM is a 501C3 corporation registered in New Jersey and an officially recognized Non-Governmental Organization registered with the Haitian Government.
History:
MIBOSAM is the French acronym for Ministry of the Good Samaritan. MIBOSAM has its roots in a small group of Haitian Americans who began meeting at the Second Reformed Church in Irvington, NJ. This group grew over the years into the Good Samaritan’s Tabernacle with a growing burden to meet the needs of less fortunate citizens in New Jersey and in Haiti. MIBOSAM started small by providing care packages and sponsoring television broadcasts through the turmoil of the early 90’s in Haiti.

Today, it runs an elementary school with about 205 students. They receive proper medical care and nutrition.

Think about the joy you can bring into the children s’ hearts. Jesus told a parable, which can be found in Luke 16:19, that reminds us of the rich man’s fate. If we look at that parable with all of its symbolism, we will remember that a conversation took place between Abraham, in heaven and Dives, in hell. Now Abraham was a very rich man. Think of the reason why Dives, according to Luke went to hell. Human progress never rolls in on the wheels of inevitability, it comes through tireless efforts and the persistent work of dedicated individuals who are willing to be coworkers with God.
